We’ve expanded our footprint south of the border and opened an office in New York City that gives entrepreneurs and companies from partnering incubators across Canada a chance to grow their business in the U.S.

Who can apply

Startups across Canada affiliated with the DMZ or with one of our partnering incubators are eligible to apply to work out of the DMZ’s New York City office. Applications are open throughout the year. Entrepreneurs will have the ability to use workspace services and take advantage of its prime real estate for up to four months, while partner companies are eligible for a maximum of 30 days.


Before applying, startups with market validation through sales should make sure to have the following:

Significant sales or market validation

Coachable and collaborative team

Evidence of growth and scale

One founder working full time for the company

General startup liability insurance

Work for a Canadian tech startup affiliated with us or one of our partners

Selected applicants will be contacted by our team within one week and are required to arrange their own transportation, accommodation and other travel-related expenses.
