About Ben Badiuk

As the Digital Marketing & Communications Lead, Ben leads the organization’s overall digital marketing strategy to maintain the DMZ’s position as a world-leading startup incubator in local, national and international markets.

Ben is a proud Toronto Metropolitan University graduate, having studied Marketing at the Ted Rogers School of Management and Professional Communications at The Creative School. He began his career at TMU as a Marketing Associate for the Mattamy Athletic Centre and later as a Communications Assistant at Toronto Met Students’ Union. This led to Ben joining a menswear startup housed in the Fashion Zone and effectively managing their digital marketing efforts through the likes of content creation, social media, and e-mail marketing.

Most recently as Social Media Coordinator at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Ben was responsible for the creation of organic and paid social media campaigns, engaging with a social community of over 2 million followers, and crafting digital communications for various leadership team members.

In his spare time, Ben enjoys attending concerts, reselling vintage clothing and housewares, contributing to his partner’s vegan cooking blog, and dog sitting.
